Through one-on-one coaching or group training my clients, from manager to senior-level executives, enhance their performance and, therefore, contribute more to meeting their companies’ objectives.

My coaching style has been described as personal, fundamental and pragmatic. With a unique combination of organizational and human insight, enthusiasm, directness and professional empathy, my clients succeed in achieving their goals. They become more self-aware, learn to be more convincing, build effective relationships and feel more at ease in their role as leaders.

In addition to being a coach and a business owner, I am a successfully, published author. My CD/book, "OP Adem Komen," about stress relief in work-related situations is very popular in Europe and ranks number five on the best-seller list for THEMA publishers. My interest in meditation as tool for personal growth has led me to write my second book: “What is the color of wind?meditation stories that will get you started. In addition I will create an e-coaching program for busy people who want more peace of mind.

Born and raised in the Netherlands. I studied in Scotland at Strathclyde University, Glasgow, and I have worked with clients from Australia, Canada, China, India, Europe and the USA.

I founded Executive Style in 2003, shortly after my move from the Netherlands to the USA.  After 4 successful business years, my husband, son and I relocated to Hong Kong in 2007. I therefore continued my coaching business in the heart of Asia.

Since 2010 I’m back ‘home’ in the Netherlands.  Living and working on three continents has shaped me as a person; I adept easily to different cultures and enjoy being a global citizen.

In my spare time I like to be with my husband and 3 children, travel to new places, do yoga, run, play piano and scuba dive. I’ve been dancing since my early childhood and it is still my favorite pastime.

Why I enjoy being a coach:

The whole process of finding and shaping your Executive Style brings me fulfillment. Helping you express your ideas and vision in a genuine and convincing way is simply what I do best. The way I work as an executive coach focuses completely on you and the way you communicate and lead. My job is done when you have developed your unique Executive Style and become the leader you’ve envisioned.
